This weekend we saw one more example of the difference between the Communist government of China and the United States.
The US had put visa restrictions on three officials of the Communist Party and regional government for “…“human rights abuses targeting Uighurs, ethnic Kazakhs and members of other minority groups in Xinjiang, to include forced labor, arbitrary mass detention, and forced population control, and attempts to erase their culture and Muslim faith.” (As has been documented by numerous international human rights organizations and media reports, China has put in place a systematic effort to persecute Uighurs.)
In response, China put visa restrictions on four US officials, Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, Rep. Chris Smith and State Dept. official Sam Brownback. The reason? They have been vocal in criticizing China’s persecution of minorities and its crackdown on Hong Kong.
THAT is the difference in Chinese and American values.
Communism is evil. China is still dangerous.
